4 arrested over death of mother, daughter inside well in Enugu

Enugu State Police Command has arrested four suspects in connection with the death of a mother and her daughter in Ijo-Ozalla, Igbo Etiti Local Government
Area.

A statement by Mr Ebere Amaraizu, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), said the suspects were assisting the command in unraveling the cause of their death and arrest other culprits.

“A woman identified as Uche Nweze and her daughter, Ukamaka Nweze, from Ijo-Ozalla in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area were said to have fallen into a well and died.

“Their corpses had been recovered and deposited in a mortuary for post mortem examination,” the statement said.
