Cultism: Ogun Police arrest 8 secondary school members during initiation

8 young students were nabbed on Friday around 12pm near a Divisional High School in Kara area of Sagamu during a cult initiation.Sagamu Police Division officers stormed Kara on Friday while the 8 teenage students were initiating a boy into the
Black Scorpion Cult.

 The students arrested by police following a tip were 16-year-old Sodik Suleiman, 15-year-old Olaide Sodik, 18-year-old Isa Suleiman, 17-year-old Usman Adams, 18-year-old Adegba Michael, 17-year-old Ogunfuwa Samson, 16-year-old Dare Sodiya and 15-year old Seyi Okebiyi.

Members of a vigilante group in the area called the police while the cultists were initiating one 16-year-old Ayoola Ahmed inside a bush.

The suspects have been taken to the Department of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence, Abeokuta.
