The police in Lagos have arrested four persons who allegedly run a factory at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, where illegal police uniforms, kits, and accouterments are sold to both police officers and suspected
criminals.
11 big bags of police uniforms and kits were seized and the kits include boots, belts, badges, ranks, shirts, trousers, force numbers, cardigans and caps and the suspects are presently facing interrogation at the X-Squad of the state police command.
The suspects will be arraigned in court today on a two-count charge of conspiracy and unlawful possession and sales of police kits contrary.... if rain doesn't inhibit vehicular movements.
